How’s this for some serious news? Not only is US superstar drifter Chris Forsberg coming to the UK to perform his legendary ‘bottle’ trick, but he’ll be using Japspeed’s Nissan S15 currently driven by Danny Eyles too! Taking place at Silverstone this Sunday, Trax is the ultimate petrolhead show and naturally the rest of the Japspeed stable will be attending along with Maxxis to show the scene the best of UK drifting.
When it comes to drifting, Team Japspeed are happy to put on a display anywhere and everywhere from Ireland to Portugal… and more recently, Scotland!
What an event! Japfest 2: The Evolution took over Rockingham raceway on Sunday 15th August, and when they needed some world-class drifting a select few BDC drivers were invited along including Japspeed’s Shane Lynch and wonder-boy Danny Eyles.
This year saw the UK’s biggest Japanese car event, Japfest, add a second date to the calendar taking over the Rockingham circuit on Sunday August 15th. It goes without say that Japanese cars and drifting go hand in hand, and when the organisers needed a pair of competition-spec cars and drivers to put on a display… well naturally, Japspeed had to get involved!
Another cracking vid from Brooksie covering Round 4 of the BDC @ Donington last month. According to Brooksie, ‘It was a real warm summery day with lots of spectators enjoying the sun and atmosphere. Sure the drivers wanted to win .. damn the championship really hangs in the balance after this round ! … but y’know I got a real feeling everyone was there just having a great days drifting with their friends, and thats what its all about.
