…and pretty damn well, too! After gearbox problems @ Round 1 Team Japspeed’s  Impreza driven by Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni is back with an STI 6-speed box hopefully strong enough to deal with the abuse expected @ Round 2 this weekend. During testing, Steve found the Impreza to have monumental amounts of front-end grip, and with plenty of low-down torque it should prove to be a pretty competitive motor. Make sure you catch it in action @ JTS/BDC Round 2 this Sunday.

Boyzone member and Team Japspeed driver Shane Lynch appeared on GMTV alongside his bandmates and couldn’t resist giving a cheeky mention to Japspeed and the British Drift Championship! Last weekend saw team drifting take over the Japfest show @ Castle Combe circuit with drivers Danny Eyles, Steve Biagioni and Paul Smith representing Japspeed. The competition in association with JDM Allstars pitted teams of three drifters out on track at the same time to see just who performed the best ‘team’ drift. In the final, it came down to an all too familiar sight… Japspeed vs Driftworks!
