On behalf of everyone here at Team Japspeed, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has helped in the past 24 hours. The support we’ve had from everyone – facebook, BBC News, Thames Valley Police and all the car clubs has simply been overwhelming, and we are SO happy to report the Impreza has been found and is now on its way back to Team Japspeed with a bit of help from BDC’s Simon Perry.
We cannot go into too many details due to the ongoing investigation, but the car was found partially stripped in the early hours of the morning (Reading area) by Thames Valley Police with thanks to the genuine information and spottings people had provided. We will know later today if any extensive damage has been done but right now we’re just beyond happy to have the car back relatively unscathed – it seems we got the car just at the right time.
Once again, a MASSIVE thank you to all of you for your support – whether you’ve been out looking, changed your profile picture, phoned around or just simply posted on our Facebook. We quite simply couldn’t have done it without you.

hey guys, bloody great news to wake to this morning!!!!!! so happy for you guys to get back the car, that so much work has gone into (i know as a fellow impreza owner lol), well its shame we dont adopt the middle eastern approach to theft and cut the fuckers hands off!!!!!!! I have been keeping a watch out on facebook and on the news and on Blackberry messenger!! I am so happy to know that u got ur car back guys!!

hey, i heard about this new yesterday and i was sorry to about this, so i put my profile picture on face and the video, so we can bring this car home.
i woke up this morning to find that the car had been found this morning and i am glad she is in the right hands now.
i shall be keep a look out on this site to see what the damage is
Such a relief to find this news this morning. I was thinking that it wouldn’t ever be seen again, let alone in near enough 1 piece. I can tell you there’s been plenty of concern through the various contacts and as this good news is filtered through…I’m sure everyone will be relieved.

Takes a lot to put a smile on my face at 5am on a Monday morning when I’m getting up for work, but that news managed to do it
was devastated on Saturday when i heard it had been stolen as i was at PVS ,glad its been found guys al be it missing a few bits by the looks of the pictures.

wkd news guys,glad the cars back,was watching this @ FCS and cudnt beleive someone could take from right under ur nose at a car show,put it on my facebook site that it had been stolen,hope it helped.
Glad you have got it back, was very shocked as I’d not that long before it was stolen taken a picture of my daughter stood in front of it.
Was ashamed to be part of the VX community at PVS when it happened. Glad to see it back and hope too much wasn’t stripped from it.

im so pleased to hear this, me and about 20 others were searching around the windsor area where it was spotted, from 6pm till about 1:30 am and im so glad its been found people from other forums were searching aswell even my brother knew before me about this and he is a old ford freak
Really good news & glad it was found early enough not to be fully stripped & ruined. Lets hope The Scoob has many more happy drift days ahead.
